This website has undergone a lot of evolutions over the years. It was the first website that was all mine, not one built on a free server, but truly and really all mine. I will on occasion rebuild it, tear it apart, want to make it something different, but it always comes back to the same basic fact. This is my website and I can pretty much do anything I want to with it.
It has now resorted back to what it started as, a site owned by me where I drop anything I want to drop. The appearance might change a bit, but the basic starting point of this site will remain what it is now, a blog for things that catch my interest and seem to be worth talking about. It might be politics, it will likely be science or technology, I will probably include a large dose of information on writing and books – both ones I have read and ones I am working on. And scattered here and there will be a number of posts about hobbies, sewing, car repair, ATVs, health, dieting, fitness and family caregiving.
Eclectic would be a good way to describe this website and its content. I have a lot of interests, and I am an incurable craftaholic, working on everything from woodworking to bookbinding, quilting to dollhouse rebuilding… after 20 years as a family caregiver I have a strong passion for caregiving, health and senior care.
My one word of warning… I write so I can earn money to keep my home and buy food. Until someone wants to pay me enough to survive, I earn my living my through advertisment copywriting and a variety of on site advertising. For more information see my Privacy Policy.
